A member of Torstens board has upgraded from APS 50 to COMAND with Nav.

He's been kind enough to post the parts required with part numbers.

I've translated it best i can using google and thought it would be useful to replicate here as this question has been posed a couple of times.

Comand APS Headunit: A 171 820 29 89 001
Nav computer: A 220 870 35 89 001
Holder for Nav computer: A 171 545 30 40
Lining (trunk): A 171 693 09 91 9E30
Lining for Nav computer: A 171 693 09 91 9E30
AUX socket: A 211 540 99 10
Screws (x4): N 910 143 006000
Spreizniet (x3): A 230 990 00 92 9C75

Please bear in mind that no AGW was required on this occasion as Audio 50 already has this.
If you have Audio 20 then you do need the AGW module
(part number B6 782 3301)
and associated cabling!

Thanks for that but you forgot a few things.

- MOST cable that travels from rear to front (non-USA cars)

- * if you have parktronic then the navigation drive bracket is already in place.

- power harness for navigation drive

- replacement clips and other small plastic things that might and do break.

- As stated, audio gateway but more importantly if you are going to spend that much then seriously consider the HK option as a possible "same time" option.

- Plus you also need dealer programming otherwise it is a huge pain
