aftermark PDC install (reverse sensor)

Has anyone installed an aftermarket PDC which has the speaker and display that you install on the dash? If so, can you please share your experience on running the wire from the back all the way up the dash?

I don't want to pay the dealer $200 to run a wire for the PDC that costs $40.
