Hey guys,

Over the last month this noise has gradually gotten worse and started to really bother me:

In the rear section of the car, I can hear a creaking/squeeking noise, it occurs when the car bounces over bumps or harsh roads, and its really f-ing annoying. Sounds like theres a mouse running in a wheel back there.

Any ideas? I thought it was the emergency kit lid bouncing around, but nope. Maybe the seats are loose since they fold down? I'm stumped.

Please help! :surrender:

Ok 4 things to look at for this:

1- check the sub frame bushings, replace any worn out.
2- look for cracks in the sub frame, usually near the bushing seats, and yes those sub frames do crack.
3- check the point where the bushings hook up to the car, they might have cracks which need to be welded.
4- If all is ok, remove the back seat, sound deadening matt and look for cracks in the seams, they might be hidden under the glue or paint, so look carefully.

One trick is to have the car on a lift, remove all the back seat and mats, get a long metal bar, and stress move the sub frame and wheel until u hear that noise, then just pin point its position, usually its a metal crack.

i have one i think on my AMG 202 but its behind the dashboard,.
