2011 E350 Convertible. front right headlight isn't working. I replaced a Xenon bulb ($99 AutoZone) and it lasted about 1 minute. I pulled the new light and inspected the bulb and it looks ok. I wore rubber gloves the whole time. I'm guessing a fuse or relay may be my next test. Anyone know where to start?

Update: Took car to stealership. The service writer (not tech) lifted the hood, took out bulb and inspected it with his hands. I said I never touched bulbs without having gloves on and he said he did it all the time. He pointed to the tip of the bulb, touching it, saying it should be touching and it's not. Not sure if my $99 bulb blew in 60 seconds or what but waiting for estimate. Already signed diagnostic fee approval for $189. Ugh.

stealership wanted $799 to pull bumper and swap headlight control modules to diagnose if it's control module or something else. I declined and pulled the bumper and swapped control modules myself. The passenger side wasn't right. After swapping control modules the passenger side is still not right. Not sure where to go from here. What's the next step to fix?
