I have a Samsung Focus S paired to my 2012 ML350. In my old vehicle I used a Jabra speakerphone. I could press-and-hold to activate my phone's voice recognition which allowed me to compose text messages, perform searches for numbers, etc. I haven't figured out how to access that functionality via the ML350. My phone's voice reco is actually better than the ML so it's frustrating that I can't use it. I can actually compose a text message in reply to one I receive since the ML reads me the message and then hands me off to the phone. I just can't create one to start. Does anyone have a solution?
