i gave my car to my cuzin and he was pulling out of driveway and cut it to close and caught the bumper on a tree :( after that the tranny in bucking and when i put in reverse nothing ??????????

unrelated? you just lost your reverse like 99% of these boxes do eventually.

search for no reverse and you will see all there is and how to fix it on the cheap, depending on the exact cause. but generally its rebuild/replace time

The part is just a few bucks if you have to change it. The low speed clutches are probably worn too, and B2 piston is worn too. You can go in just fix the o-ring, but the transmission has to come out. On the first thread, the guy who started the thread was 18 year-old, and did the job him self. Here is a thread on how to remove the transmission if you elect to do the job your self.
