Here's my problem with my 04 E320, sometimes when the vehicle is started some of the accessories won't turn on (happens a lot when the outside temp falls below 60) - the car starts however, the tach is on zero, radio doesn't turn on, no heat & air, turn signals won't work. Weird thing is that if you just turn the key to position 2 all of this stuff works and then as soon as you start it everything quits. An error code I'm having is P0600. Both batteries are new.

i have seen this a few times on 211 and 219 cars. first off check to see if their is water in the central gateway. its in the drivers under dash panel....that at times can cause funky issues. the easier thing to try is a different key. i have seen this about 5x. 1x it was water in the central gateway. the other 4x it was a key. rather than have my customer spend $$$on diag i advised them to try another key. i followed up several weeks later and was told it never did it again. worth a shot

I wish I could try this, I only have 1 key. Thanks a lot for the input. I will let you know if I get another key and if that works.
