Does anybody KNOW for a FACT whether or not this stuff is or isn't comparable to the G05 / Mercedes-Benz (yellow/orange) coolant for use in the 2.6 or 3.0?
I was hard-pressed and this is all that was available to me at the time of use this past weekend.
I can't seem to get a straight answer from the forums or Google search. BAP is spec'ing it for my '92 201 and my '90 126 which both have the 103 engine.
Advise, thanks!

Ford Motorcraft Premium Gold is the same as the Zerex G-05; easy to find at any ford dealer

another choice for this can be the Mercedes Benz dealer

Xerex G5 is acceptable but with the parts Department, andf membership in the MBCA, discounts from 10-15% that can even be available from the Mercedes Benz dealer, the price can be very competitive. But you must speak up and ask for their best discount.

This varies a good deal from one dealer to another, and whether they know you personally in parts service or sales and whether your business relationship with them is good.

And it never hurts to ask....even if it is your first visit.

Compared with other car makers, the parts support and availablity at Mercedes Benz dealers both in Europe and here in the US is phenonemal.

Why pay dealer prices for the exact same stuff in different packaging! Zerex G05 IS the same exact stuff Mercedes has packaged with their logo and it costs more at the dealership......even with the discount!

$8 for spark plugs each so I think I'll pass on the dealer.

You can get zerex at O'Reillys and Napa.

Not only that, but the stealership has limited hours, and O'Reilly's is open late most places. At least here it is. More of them too.

So if you are working late on your car and need it, you can easily get it.

CarQuest has it and sometimes Walmart has it too.
