I have a 2004 ML350 with AC problem: just had an evac and recharge so system is at right charge, but AC just doesnt get as cold as it used to. Is this an air blend issue or pressure switch one?
thanks for any kind of assistance.

several issues could be the reason. One place to have a look at is the Auxiliary fans. If they don't come on at all the system is compromised. They should come on when the coolant temp crack ~ 90deg c and/or the a/c pressure is above 16bar/psi I can't remember which, basically if the aircon is flat out trying to cool that pressure should be up and the fans engaged. If they are not, it could be fuse #44 has blown.

auxillary electric fans are on, compressor is engaged. will check condensor for clogging. But when recirculation button is pressed on, the engine revs do not noticably increase, like it did in the past.
