AC works great except when I don't want it on. Any ideas out there on which of the many realys, valves, etc. controls this function. Also I don't seem to be getting any air through floor vents in any mode. Temperature wheel seems to have no effect either--but great AC!
Thanks for any help.

Sanford,

Glad your A/C works so well and sorry it won't stop working. What car is giving you the problem?

Possible culprit is the KLIMA relay. Located up by the battery, behind the black shield. Says "KLIMA" on top. Do the other HVAC functions work? Defrost?

Other functions--bi-level and defrost seem to work ok. Just don't seem to have air flow at floor vents and temp wheel doesn't seem to respond. Great airflow at dash vents and blower works on all settings. Automatic button blows strong until interior cools then drops back to lower setting as itv should. Main issue has been getting the AC to shut down with EC when outside temp is cooler.
