I have reviewed many articles in the forum but stiil haven't resolved my problem ,
I have a w210 e300td 1999 that blows hot air from every vents ,just the center vents are working fine (the two on the dash up to climate control unit).
I checked the duovalve and repaired it .Recirculating pump if fine.I did a diagnostic and no error codes were find .when engine is cold the air is cols from all vents , when engine is warming , the air warms too.
Here are my live data from the climate control unit after 5 minutes from engine start:
(temperature is in degrees celsius)
1 22
2 13
3 48
4 49
5 08
6 56
7 15
8 60
9- 03
10 2.3
11 2.5
12 4.3
20 2.0
21 06
22 00
23 100
24 12.9
40 74
41 30
42 72
43 136

Can someone please tell what might be the problem :crybaby2:

Something is not right with the duovalve. Your symptoms are classic of the duovalve, and your 3 and 4 measurements are high which means the valve is letting hot coolant into the heater. The #1 measurement is normal so at least your climate control doesn't think it's freezing in there.

I think it's suspicious that both are high. Usually just one side gets stuck. I think the signal to the duovalve is the problem. Maybe check the connection at the valve?

Daredavil87,

Maybe unrelated observation.
If these readings are with the motor running your voltage is a tad low. #24 is showing 12.9 when 13.1 to 13.5 would be expected.
Let us know if motor was running or off.
