So after they replaced the torsion bar shims to alleviate the cracking noise in the fall, the noise is back with a vengeance - just when spring is here.

I am going to go back to the dealer but am looking for info from you all as to what remedies you've all tried.

Lubing doesn't help

Mine kind of comes and goes. It does seem to help if I lube in the sleeve area about halfway along the torsion bar, although I won't swear by it. It also seems to improve when I take it on offroad trails that exercise the suspension. I haven't heard the popping in a few months. Good luck - it's a pain.

Thanks, but like I said, lubing doesn't help after a while...

I never replaced the torsion bar .... it was a rust issue for me when they took it apart ... they sand it down, pack it down with grease, and reinstalled everything.

The dealer performed exactly the same and it's all set...
