Yes i found that cracked ball cock everywhere else and here too (insert joke here), BUT I THOUGHT THAT WAS JUST TOOOOO EASY AND CHEAP AS A FIX !!!

IT is Aam's comment that convinced me.... "If you want to skip all the troubleshooting, dash removal, hours of headaches" then just replace the vacuum distributer, its cheap and easy"

and it was.. 5minutes $34.82 later----Everything works as intended-

Thank you Aam!!! Im hoping that was the source of partially burned gas smell as well.

James,
No to politics, I like to live a clean life. ;)

Benzmanbandit,
I am glad that it worked.

Sometimes I hit the nail on the head, the G spot, I cant find. :(

Gas smell?

Get,

Fuel test gauge.

Check pressure, maybe volume.

EHA amps.

Then mixture.

02 sensor. (Get a uni. cheap.)

That is if it is coming from the exhaust.
If not CK hoses around the fuel pump, and the fuel fill cap gasket.

Regards,
aam.

Aam what about using the door sw with diodes to prevent backfeeding in place of the elusive door latch sw-- only the drivers door is having issues- which of course goes to the ATA for alarm operations!! :(.

A switch is a sw Right?? or do i need to tell it when lock and unlock

I hate re-engineering MBs!!! What a pain in the @ss!!

I don't have all the answers.
The IR is getting pulses from the remote.
The module constantly changes the remote codes.

Other problems.
The sensor plastic is getting bad/cloudy so it doesn't read right.
It is also possible that something along the way is also bad.

Now where is the problem, switch, connectors, module?
Module solder?
Which module?
There are two that I know of.

It is fed by many fuses, and systems, so can not be disarmed.

They don't give us complete diagrams.......

Dealer has the computerized tools.......

Regards,
aam.
