Because folks sometimes ask questions about the "spacers" or "adapters" needed for windscreen installation on pre-1982 R107's, I was going to post the instruction sheet for using the spacers on the OE installation - but decided, what the heck - here's the whole job. A very simple task, but it answers a few questions I had before buying mine.

It literally took me longer to un-box and un-wrap the windscreen than it did to install.

It hasn't been off the SL since I bought it in 2006.
