Hey folks, hope you're all well.
As some of you may know, my car came with the factory 18" Monoblock II wheels.
The wheels are
Front: 18x8 ET31 with factory fitted 225/40R18 tires
Rear: 18x9 ET35 with factory fitted 255/35R18 tires

Has anyone lowered their car with these wheels and tires fitted?

Reason why I ask is because last year I decided to upgrade my tire sizes to
Front 235/40 and Rear 265/35

My car now rubs on the inner fender when reversing and turning. Which means that if I lower my car, it's gonna be a disaster.

So I am now considering going back to factory recommended sizes so as to enable me to lower the car. (The front sits way too high in my opinion, and with the 235's, I feel it's worse)

Let me know please.
