R230 SL-ClassThe boot lid is currently refusing to complete the closing cycle (where it engages the boot lid catches) so I'm getting an error message when driving "close boot lid" and of course the roof won't come down "close boot lid" Any helpful suggestions before I go off to the expensive M-B specialist...- 0

R230 SL-ClassThis seems to be unusual from the little information that I can find. A 2004 SL500. Parking brake on, shifter in park, car running, consumer battery online, luggage divider closed, trunk closed (no leaks in the soft close). Just purchased a 02 SL500 (R230)...what was i thinking...
