It's amazing how a few things such as different wheels, tinted glass, as well as a few exterior modifications (most courtesy of formymercedes.com) can make such a huge difference!

They're actually the chrome shells behind the handles. They protect the paint behind the handles from being scratched up and they do look quite nice []. If you have a look at yours, you'll see what I mean. It's especially obvious on a darker colour, such as mine.

It took me a while to get used to the mirrors as well, however now that I have had them for a while, I love them! They are very similar to what you would find on the Audi S4's []
