Hello guys I'm a rookie to the blog.
Maybe someone can help me with a/c on 2002 ml320,sometimes it comes on sometimes it doesn't.when it does comes on and I moved the fan speed to higher setting I hear like a flap opening or closing noise immediately hot air starts blowing out.please help

Sounds like your Air blend door motor is dying . Also make sure your compressor clutch is pulling in. Unless you have the variable displacement compressor you won't see it pull in.

Yes I agree that it is the Blend Door Motor, but remember that exterior compressor clutch were only on 1998-2001 ML's.
