Did you check to make sure its properly charged? Is it R12 coolant or R137a? If the latter and your car has been converted, then you can check it yourself. If its R12, you'll need to take it in to be charged and checked (you might be able to find some R12 on ebay.)

If it charges and then doesn't cool, you might have a leak...thats a 'whole 'nother thread.

If you have R137a...it might not cool as much as you'd like. The older cars have a condenser thats not big enough, and R137a just isn't as good as R12

First thing you should do is look in the diy sticky's. They have very usefull info about the control head of your A/C and how to refurbish them. If you can solder you should be able to correct a number of electrical demons with your car by reading past threads.

Let me be a little more clear.
A/C is a problem of its own - recharged system, replaced relay on firewall - no juce to compressor ??
The issue at hand is my car is generating a ton of heat that i feel by my legs - not blowing hot air but feeling it
I just ordered a Monovalve repair kit and the 3 way vacuum check valve.
My vents seem to do some flippy stuff as well.
Help Me

The flap issue sounds like the vacuum diaphragms that switch the flaps for the desired use demanded. Switch the ACC from EC to A/C and see if you hear a "hissing" noise. May very well be a diaphragm that needs to be addressed along with the electrical issue.
