Hi,

My daughters 1997 c230 is blowing hot air on passenger side and cold on the driver's side. Any idea where to begin to look? I don't think the car has two valves (duo valves), only one. Not sure what the issue is as she just told me about this happening tonight.

Thanks for any help.

This would be my troubleshooting sequence:
1. Verify climate control selections are set for cold on both sides and confirm the complaint,
2. Check refrigerant pressures while operating. If low, add refrigerant until in spec.
If the complaint still exists, the problem is in the dash, either with the vacuum motors or the climate control unit.
