I have decided NOT to give up on my 95 S600 coupe. But... The problems continue... The engine is going to come out and replaced. Found a low mileage replacement!!
The last problem I am left to deal with is: At times when I start the car, the A/C controls don't light up and the fan blows on high. You cant see the temps and the only way to shut fan off is to turn the key off. I can disconnect the battery and "sometimes" it will the system will light up and work perfectly. I can't find a rhyme or reason.
The only other thing that is odd (maybe not related) is that the trunk release switch on the dash will remain lit. The red led. Trunk is closed and pull down function works as it should.
