Ok where is the A/C drain tube at on a 89 420 SEL I am not sure where it is. The reason I am asking is I never see water dripping outside the car when the A/C has been running a long time.

there are two one on each side of the transmission tunnel. Lift up both sets of carpets and see if the floor is wet that is where the water is going if its not coming out of the car. They are pretty simple to change by the way.

They are actually an odd design. I've seen them crumbled/apart....its like a spring wrapped with plastic/foamy type material. Prone to fall apart, especially after this amount of time/age.
