A/C Condenser Oil?

Hey guys!

So I replaced my Condenser using G-AMG's thread located HERE. I did it really quick and forgot completely about the Compressor Oil. I was looking on Autohausaz and it will cost $32 plus shipping to get some Compressor Oil. Kinda spendy for needing just 20 Grams of oil. Could I just go to my local Auto Parts or Napa store to get some Compressor oil, Or should I just buy this super expensive oil from Auohausaz?

Yes, and I recall G-AMG listed a chart for the amount and the Type.
I don't see the Type in the PDF
Make sure you get the right type

Page 46 of the DIY link I gave? That only has 3 pages.

"PAG" = Polyalkylene Glycol, an A/C Oil.

The Service sheet is 362.0:

Mercedes-Benz Betriebsstoff-Vorschriften: Motoröl, Getriebeöl, ATF, Kühlmittel, Bremsflüssigkeiten

The Oil *I* Used in the Post, is the material Used/Supplied by my Local Mercedes Dealership.

To be perfectly honest?

When I walked in to purchase the "Correct" Sheet 362.0 oil? They said they did not even carry the material. Since I only needed 20 Grams of Oil?

He went back, and gave me a small amount of the Oil they used in the Dealer shop, and said "Here... On-the House".

You might try the same thing, offering to pay them a little something... or "Bearing Gifts" for the Parts Counter Guy. ;^)

Confirmation it is PAG 46, it comes two ways, pourable and under pressure.

Ok, so I can go down to my local Napa and grab a bottle of the oil? That would be FAR my convenient for me!

Don't mean to bump, I just want to be sure. I can use any kind of PAG46 oil on my Condenser?
