Until now, I have been able to control the blower speed when the a/c is on in my '95 S500. But today, it will only do "minimum" or "full blast"---nothing in between those two speeds. I've got the left and right temp settings at "lo," and outside temperature was at about 95 degrees. What could this be?

P.S. The "thingy" that supposedly controls the blower speed and blower motor were installed less than a year ago and had been working fine until today.
