a big play on drive shaft

hi friends,
went underneath of 300sdl, discovered the drive shaft (the one linking tranny and rear axle) has a big play - about 10 degrees free turn. it results in a dull striking sound when i suddenly press the fuel pedal, or some times when i suddenly brake.

so, what is worn out? i.e. what needs to be replaced? appreciate your info.

Check for play in the flex discs, the bolts can hallow out their hole, and thus causing thunking, how is the center carrier bearing?

didn't see abnormality on flex, but will go there again to check it out closely. yeah, need to take the cover out to check the center carrier bearing...
