is that the same wood just refinished or is it a complete new set of wood?

What a beautiful car! But now I am seriously thinking about doing an all black paint job like that when I get the cash..it just looks so beautifully sinister I can't avert my eyes..lol.

Of course, if I did that, I can just imagine the purists accusing me of trying to pass my reg '85 500 SEL for an AMG...lol. And if I could just find black seats like that and have them shipped to me I would be in heaven..so nice..lucky guy you are. =)
Go for it, most of the AMGs here are all "bolt-on" anyway.

Unless you've got a very rare documented straight from the factory original, well, anything is up for grabs.

Form and Function, that's what a machine is. Who cares who commissioned it or where it was created. If it performs the same function and represents something you like to look at, then you should be proud of your possession.

If you really want to argue the metaphysics of it, it's a paradox of identity.
