When I press the Fader button to divert audio to the rear speakers, no rear speakers emit any sound. Front speakers work fine.

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot a problem like this? (Or has anyone experienced this issue?) What is the fix?

All other controls on the radio/cd player seem to work fine, and audio from the front speakers is clear and strong.
