I have a '99 ML430 that will eventually need a replacement one piece rear drive shaft, since my rear drive shaft is starting to get loose. My rear drive shaft is NOT a two piece, which is commonly found around the internet for W163s. I am having a hard time finding an off brand one piece rear drive shaft or a used one with under 150k miles. Mercedes wants $1,200 and claims there are only 2 ONE PIECE REAR driveshafts in the country. Any help finding an off-brand rear one piece driveshaft or a used one with at most 100k miles? All I can find are the front drive shafts, which are all one piece, or the two piece rear drive shaft. I need a one piece rear, which looks a lot of the front, but is longer and thicker. Thanks!
