Hey guys so I was following some threads on here for a false alarm siren that happens whenever I lock my doors, anyway I got the siren off now (first picture) but before that I took a “hella” horn off because the forums said passenger side (it ended up being driver side) anyway my only question is can I leave it off? Will it effect anything? I really just don’t feel like getting back under the car AZ is hot lol. There is supposed to be 2 under there now there’s just the one I didn’t take out. Are these for the Alarm as well? Or for your actual car horn. Thanks in advance, much appreciated any answers.

The alarm siren, is just that for the alarm system only. You can leave it off as I have done and the system will work as per normal - i.e. immobilize the car, flash lights and all in conjunction with the remote key.

The horns (high & low tones) are not connected to the alarm system but you should refit the horn removed as it sounds crap with just one horn working.

To clarify, the horn SpencerC reomoved is the alarm horn, according to EPC data.

high low tones when it's activated. Kindly clarify how it's not connected to the alarm system.

Not too sure what you are really asking? Anyway, first photo is the alarm siren, second photo is one of the two horns which consist of a low & high tone. The only 'noise generator' that's connected to the alarm system is the siren (first photo).

Ah, I re-read SpencerCs post #1. I was only referring to his first photo (of the alarm horn).
My bad.
His 2nd photo refers to the car horns (one on each side, behind the lower side of the front bumpers cover.
He's actually removed one of the car horns and yes, it should go back in place if not damaged.
