Well, I'm currently trying to install a new head unit into my 99 E320 (w/ Bose), but none of the radio color codes we've found match up with my car.

We've searched all around, and tried various sites/diagrams, but nothing has worked thus far.

Any help would be great..

Hi Brandon and welcome to the forum. You might search through the threads on the Audio & Telematics forum too, it's in the technical section. Just curious: it is a replacement MB head unit or aftermarket?

Trying to be helpful..

There is a Metra plug and play harness, but unclear if you stereo is "Bose" or not, see link:

http://www.benzworld.org/forums/aud...6-confirm-2002-e320-radio-wiring-harness.html

From www.the12volt.com, again not clear if this for the Bose system or not:

1999 Mercedes E-Class Stereo Wiring Information

The Bose system takes the preamp outputs from the ehadunit and routes them to a small amplifier. If you are going to use the amplifier from the head unti for the Bose system, then you have to bypass the amp and wire the speaker outputs from the head to the speaker connections coming out of the Boase amp.

Trying to help - hope I didn't hurt !
