Hello. My brake lamps went out on my '99 CLK 430 on both sides. I assume simultaneously. I checked the fuse and it is fine and both bulbs are good. What the heck is going on? Any help would be great. Thanks.[}]

Brakelampswitch? (prone for failure)
Take off the connector and see if there is any current on one of the wires.
Put it back on, press the pedal and measure the other wire for current.
