Cruise control on my 99 C280 is not working. It only has 47 K miles. I spoke with the dealer and they want to charge $99.00 as diagnostic fee and they said that it may be the diaphram. But 99 C280 has an Electronic Throttle Control, so it can't have a diaphram.
I was told by the dealer that it has no fuse/ relay, so it must be the TPS (Throttle position sensor), but if there is a problem with the TPS, there will be other problems too. Any help will be much appreciated.

Regards
Raj

There should be a fuse for the 95 model. Look in the fuse box under the hood. I have a 96 and just replaced the fuse recently and it started working again. The fuse should also control the brake lights. Let me know if this works.

It's been like six years, so I'm guessing they figured it out or moved on. ;)

May be useful for others who come across the thread, though.
