I just picked up some fluid from the local dealer. the fluid number 001-989-20-03-10 was superceded to 001-989-20-03-12. List price was $37.05 I paid $22.00. Is this the correct fluid has anyone else seen the new superceded number ?

Yes, that is the correct fluid meeting the Mercedes spec sheet 344.0.

Chance are you will be getting the Fuchs Titan ZH 5364 B and that is the right fluid.
