Hi all,

I am having trouble with the clock on my car. Problem is no matter how mant times I set the correct time, by the end of the day it is off again. I would say it is slow by about 20 minutes everyday.

Any one else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Thanks!

Interesting... unless your battery is dying I don't see how this would happen...If its computer related, id think you'd have more observable problems.

There is no additional battery for the clock, it's integrated into the Instrument cluster. It's a simple quarts clock. I believe the only fix would be replacing the IC. Unless you can find a watch shop that would be willing to take a look at it.

Check your main battery just in case, but I doubt that it is the issue.

When the car is not driven the whole day, does the clock slow down?

The clock loses the same amount of minutes each day no matter if it sits all day or if I drive it constantly. On long trips I have watched the clock lose time as the trip goes on.
