intermittently fails both ways. Is there a flasher mechanism?
With switch on steering column, or elsewhere?

It has ADS/ attention deficit syndrome.

Under the knee bolster is the signal connector.
See if somebody pulled a fast one.

Have you fix the problem, my 92 300sl, flashes 4 ways when eiyher right or left turn signal is activated
