cant crank engine on my sl.
i believe it is the starter lockout circuit but i can find k38 relay. i be;ieve it is supposed to be behind radio and ac unit i have both pulled but cant locate it.

also i have heard there may be a bypass to this in the engine compartment that would allow the engine to star for repair. is this true, where is it located
?

thanks

The location is atop the transmission tunnel behind the SRS module.

The K38 relay may be bypassed by removing the electrical connector to the vacuum pump and jumpering sockets #6 to #12 (chassis ground) with a wire or paper clip.
