Hey guys i have a quick question. Is it bad for the trans to shift it manually with the 1 2 and 3 gears commonly? Just want to make sure.

No problem. Gated shifters are for shifting as contemplated in the owners manual. Mercedes had gated shifters for about a hundred years - until they foolishly did away with them. I like them a lot better than a + / - tiptronic style.

Old cars,I don't need to buy a new tranny. let the trans do the work in auto.
