Hi Guys,

I've been noticing this funny rattling sound from the left real section (behind the front seat) since i bought this car in March. At first i thought it was due to bad shocks and the rattling is still there after i've replaced all shocks using Bilstein when going over rough surface road. It's very quiet when cruising on the freeway.

Is anyone out there experienced such funny noise/sound ?

Appreciate any feedback.

Cheers :)

Albert

Check the rubber exhaust hangars as well. They do crack and fail with age.

It could also be a loose parking brake shoe. This can be checked easily by applying the parking brake gradually up to a point just prior to the brakes grabbing. If the rattle disappears, you have identified the problem. The next step would be to remove the brake disk and inspect the shoes.
