Hi,

Dealer said that the price came from corporate and was non negotiable. Is the price fair for a new 2011 C 300 4 matic? I looked up Edmunds and they have the plan listed for $715 Invoice and $769 list. Also on the vehicle invoice the dealer provide me they have the car MSRP for 37,490 and Dealer Net Price at $35,366 when all the online invoices I find are at $34,866. Am I being suckered here? I was offered the car from $42,500 for $37,477 after lots of haggling.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks, I know I got a great price on the car, but the 30,000 3 yr service is for three services not four (10K, 20K and 30K). I know the 40K service is the most expensive, but that's not include. I'm going to try other dealers and ask about the rates. The financial manager swore to me that corporate priced this and they could not negotiate. If I find out he lied, I'm going to speak to the GM and expect some more incentive. Does anyone know the number to MB corporate HQ, by the way just in case?

Thanks

You are right. I purchase mine with 11,000 miles therefore it was work it because by the next 3 maintenances i will be on the 40,000. Once again i got the car yesterday and I can be more that happy with this great car. By the way have you had any luck with the ipod integration kid? mine it shows me the songs and playlist above the miles thing , but no sound is coming. Another question , any suggestions for the installation of the front european plate without drilling holes in it?

Thank you
Hope you enjoy your car

Thanks, I don't have the car yet. Picking it up Tuesday. I don't even have an Ipod or MP3 player. I was waiting to get the car first, but I will be buying most likely and I phone and will let you know how it works out. No idea about Euro plates though. I'm in NY.

I'm not sure if they make a european plate version, but google "tow hook license plate mount". There are several very good mounts for US plates out there, and NO drilling holes in your bumper!

OK, I got the right answer directly from MB Corporate in Montvale, NJ customer affairs. The dealers set their own prices with the service plans. I called NYC, Manhattan Mercedes and they wanted $995 for the 3 year plan, ouch. Anyway, I went back to my dealer and told him that I was basically lied to and that they are not set by corporate. He worked with me and I got the 3 year plan for $769. I am now a happy camper. I also got 10% off for the all weather mats. Due diligence is key when buying a car. It took 4 trips and a few hours of internet research. Picking up the car tomorrow afternoon :elefant::elefant:

Oh Yeah, I pointed out that the salesman charged me tax on the $50 for a full tank of gas. Sales manager took $5 off. $37472 for the car!!! I also got a fair price for my POS A4 trade in.

I bought 4 years Service Plan in 2008 at much higher price and found out that recommend brake fluid flush every 2 years not include ($99). Contact MBUSA: Recommend vs Mandatory? I hate to find out about transmission fluid or I may not reach 40K miles after 4 years. Only summer on my C300, 27k miles now.

Unless you are doing high annual mileage, I'd pass.
