Seems kinda expensive, regardless of the mileage. I paid $10,400 CDN for my Euro, then put in ~$2k to get it to where it is now. Even if mine was a good deal, you should be able to get a 1/2 decent Euro for $15k - you could do a lot with the extra $10k.

No, we have lots of the US versions too. Mine is actually a German model (I know, they are all German [;)] )... e.g. German language on the stickers etc.

Are you saying your 560 is unique or just putting down the rest of us in the value of our SECs. It appears that you got a exceptional deal. I'm impressed with your WEB page. Can you make me one?
How much are you asking for your SEC. I don't see any original MB upgrades other than you say its a 300 HP engine. I believe its a 1985 engine updated to a 5.5 01.03 #034939, a 300/320 Hp would be #044320 version although I could be wrong. Question: do you have these options #524, #597, #601, #613. You said you paid 10K and you put in another 4K, ship it to Ontario with a saftey and omissions certificate and I'll give you $16K. I have attached a photo of an original 1988 560 SEC Euro with the MB 17" alloys and MB exterior options has only 64K on the od.

Beautiful SEC. The rims are hideous, though.

Hi MBGary,

When I bought mine, there were 3 560SEC Euro versions for sale; I talked to the guy that bought one for $12,400 CDN and the other one was last listed at ~$10k, and is now gone. All had less than 100,000 kms. I can only assume that with the large number of BMWs and Mercedes to choose from here, that perhaps the value is a bit lower.

Sorry, not interested in selling it. As for the 300 hp figure, that comes from the Euro specs from this sheet: http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Flats/2188/Specifications.htm however, I think it is generally acknowledged that the 560 Euro had 300 hp/330 lb-ft.

Thanks for the feedback on the web page.
