Hi, i just accidentally snapped this little plastic vacuum line union, and subsequently the engine doesn't shut down by turning the key. Is there a website that might have a diagram that could help me get a part number? or does anyone know what it might be?

Thanks,
Eugene

The only fix is to replace the whole tube from the vacuum pump to the brake booster.

The plastic piece is a one way check valve.

It is only sold as a complete assembly (hose ends w/ check valve already assembled)

That's the vacuum check valve for the brake booster. I broke the one in my sedan in a similar manner. I simply went to the local wrecking yard and found one from a Volvo. I used a heat gun and some shrink tubing to insert the replacement onto the tubes--cheap and painless. Otherwise, it should be available from your dealer...or maybe some of the online vendors.

You might be able to tape off that vacuum leak, and tap the brown line into the other vacuum sources on the pump, as a temporary measure.
