i just bought a 300D from a dealer at a good price, but no records to go along with it. what are the first routine maintenance items i should do? the car runs great and i have NO complaints. should i trace maintenance records through MBNA? how do you do that?
thanks!

First bring it to a reputable dealer or independent mercedes place with lots of years of experience.
- have the compression checked, transmission fluid, replace all belts(if need be), change oil, change fuel filter/airfilter
-have brakes/suspension checked
goodluck...luv my 84 turbodiesel(227.000)...it'll go a long way but repairs and maintenance maybe costly...goes with the teritory of owning a benz..but will be worth your while...clean it and change oil and fuel filters ...and remember to warm the car up(80) and idle down (5mins) before turning engine off.God bless.
