Hi Guys

I am new to BW , and the proud owner of a Thistle Green '83 230E . The car is in absolutely stunning original condition . I had the car recently serviced completely at a Workshop where all the technicians had their aprenticeships done on W123 models when they were still working for Merceds Benz . Did all the oils (Engine , Gearbox , Diff ) and all Filters replaced . Car running like a dream , except 1 problem . The steering is very light and dont have any "meat" to it . I dont see any obvious leaks on the Power Steering pump , and dont know if it can be something inside ? Had all 4 x Tyres replaced , replaced 2 x rear shocks , wheel allignment done etc , but still the problem . We did the sterring arms and bushings as well .

Any suggestions where I can look next ?

All help will be apreciated

Welcome to centre point steering. It is designed to be light. You should be more concerned if it becomes heavy or noisy.
