:crybaby2: ok so my wife came home from work and said the car had no power and would not accelerate. It then died once as she was driving. she restarted and got it home. I was told by a relative to change the fuel filter. I changed the small one, seemed ok, still not full power i could tell. Drove it to work heard a loud clicking noise right before it shifts gears. My wife heard the same. It sounds like when a kid would have a bicycle and attach a baseball card. Anyways, i drove home, it died again. wouldnt start, (probablly tried to many times and killed the battery.) I was told again to also change the large fuel filter. My question, could the fuel filters be causing the shutdown, no power etc? Its seeming to burn ALOT of oil lately very quickly! PLEASE HELP!

Yes, if the spin on filter is clogged, the engine will not get fuel.

No clicking as you describe, tho.

Burning a lot of oil may, or may not be connected.
