I recently purchased an 82 380sel with 102,000 original miles. the car is visually in mint condition (cloth interior :D). it ran fine the first day but after driving it around for a little it started dying only when i made right handed turns. Now the problem has escalated to it starting up and then dying after a couple of seconds no matter where i hold the revs. On initial start up (cold engine) the car starts up and stays on but that's only for about a minute. I checked the fuel feed line and it seems to be getting plenty of fuel and the relay doesn't seem to be getting hot or anything. I would really appreciate any kind of advice, Please HELPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!

having a set of CIS gauges hooked up would tell you a lot. Are your pumps staying on? Did you try jumpering out the fuel pump relay?

Search around, there should be a fair bit of info on this sort of thing.

i actually just ended up pulling off the idle control unit and discovered that the circuit board had a little area that was fried, i'm going to replace it tomorrow and hope that was my problem
