Forgive me, I've just spent half an hour digging through the forum and have yet to locate the info I need.

On the OM617, I just play with the bowden cable to time the shifting - and I don't see one on this 240D.

Symptom: hangs on to a gear too long for my liking...modulator pressure seems fine, not too firm - all vac hoses present and correct, fluid level is fine...what am I missing here?

Thanks buddy. Tranny modulator flippers could use replacing, found a cracked vac line under the cover too - more and more like a 126.
