I own a '78 280 CE which has been given a new life both in body & mechenical except for the door window seals around the roof section that run from the windscreen to the side rear window. I now know why the previous owner over looked these items as he did not wish to mortage his home or give up his first born to obtain such items. At a shade under AUS $2000 for the 2, I beleive and hope there may be a generic rubber seal which suitable for this job. If anyone knows of such a thing or has an alternative, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Dave,<br> <br> I saw seals on a a parts webisite - search using yahoo.com w123 - it has to be one of the major ones (adsitco.com maybe?) for much much cheaper than this - supposedly original. Prices seem to vary - I have been looking for a hoodpad that varies from US$50 up to $200!<br> Berkeley
