Hi, I’m new to the forum and decided to come here because I’m lost as how to get this problem resolved. I have a 73 450slc and the accelerator pedal started to have lots of play one day so I decided to check it out. I turns out the throttle linkage bushing is out, so I went to my local Mercedes dealership to get parts. I got my parts today and it turns out I’m still missing parts to reinstall properly. I was hoping someone could drop a link or pictures of what else I need to reinstall. Any knowledge would help. Thanks a lot!

There is a ball on both ends of the shaft plus a couple of other things. CONTROL MERCEDES 450 [Car] [CHASSIS] (USA)
Note when you click on the part for instance 185 it indicates the number needed. In this case 2. The diagrams are not exact as it doesn't show where the second one goes. I know because I replaced them on my 107.

Part 186 may not be available from Mercedes but that doesn't mean it is no longer made. Click on 186 and part number A 116 301 01 50 shows. Google that and Amazon has it for around $6.50 ea.

There may be a picture in the online service manual. Model 107 Maintenance Manual Index Click on your engine not chassis for complete manual.
