When I pulled the transmission I did not notice that 2 of the bellhousing bolts, not the long starter bolts, are about 10mm longer than the others. I am pretty sure due to the some oxidation on one that it is the bolt just above the top starter bolt. Cannot figure out where the correct spot is for the other one. Anyone know off the top of their head?

parts catalog only shows N914007010063 qty 6, and N304017010035 qty 2. no clue as to what goes where. The latter are described as M10x45, while the former don't have any size on their listing.

if you have the transmission out of the car, I'd fit the screws in the various holes, and see which ones stick out more or less, and swap til they all have the same amount showing.

It became obvious on reassembly. The oil pan is aluminum and the 2 bottom bolts utilize the additional 5mm of thread to take the torque spec I would think. Thanks for the tip.
