Hi guys,

Quick questions?

1. What type of coolant do these things use, I know they like a special blend ;)

2. Any particular type of brake fluid? DOT4 / DOT5?

Thanks guys,

Sam

1. Nalcool 4100 premix meets MB standards. I flushed my system with Mukowt before filling with new coolant. 2. MB Dot 4+ (This is their spec, not a universally known spec.) Get it from Lintrex for half the MB dealer retail price.

I would just go for an ethyl glycol coolant, long life jobbie and some decent quality DOT4 brake fluid. I have never bothered about getting the exact stuff the main stealers recommend and have never had a problem. When i am working on customer cars i do however use the manufacturers recommended specs.(mainly for percieved quality and arse covering if i am honest tho)
